    ASUS G73 OWNERS: Uninstall Soundblaster Audigy HD!

    Just a heads up - I know it has been brought up briefly in other threads, etc...

    But, if you own a new Asus laptop - especially a G73...

    UNINSTALL THE SOUNDBLASTER AUDIGY HD Program/Drivers from your laptop.

    This conflicts with the Realtek Audio device and will cause you problems - most noticeably lock ups and freezing depending on the program you are using.


    To test:

    Go to CONTROL PANEL > APPEARANCE AND PERSONALIZATION > EASE OF ACCESS CENTER

    ...if it freezes your comp, then you know you have the conflict.
