    Hi all,
After a long nightmare involving a toasted GPU, which involved a lot of dissasembling and reassembling, last night I got the laptop working again.

Now I seem to have an issue where sound is very low even at the max setting. When I connect external speaker / headphones no sound comes out through them, instead it keeps coming though the laptop speakers, as if nothing was connected to the jack.

    Any ideas?

I would attempt to reinstall the audio drivers and see if that shakes it.
