So I decided to mod my air intake but I wanted it to look like it came from the factory. I also did this because I may upgrade the GPU + CPU later this year.

First I started by taking the fan and making a template.

Once the template was made I could mark the center for the holes for the fans.

I then used a 44mm hole saw (1 3/4in) to cut the air intake holes.

Once the holes were cut I need to smooth the edges.

I will be ordering some black fan filter mesh or Modders Mesh to attach to the inside of the chassis. I will order that Monday. I will also post results of the temp difference after this is complete. This should also allow for easier cleaning of the fan ducts. I will try to take noise level readings before and after.

Found some mesh on some new speaker grills I didn't need. Here is a picture to give you all an idea of what it will look like. I will finish it and post some pics of the final product.

Think about using the fan filters off the G75's?

Not sure if your three pictures fallowing your first post are the pictures from the first post or not. But the pictures in the first post are not showing up. I'm quite interested in seeing how this looks.
