Hey guys, I am well aware of all the backpacks that are capable of holding the G73/G74 snugly. Such as the Slappa, Alienware Orion, or whatsoever.

Ok so the big thing is, that I am a huge, huge huge fan of the The North Face backpacks, and is there any North Face backpack that can fit the G73 snugly inside it?

I know there is one and it is the North Face OnSight but sadly, they do not make those anymore and are no where to be found, I looked all over eBay, and online.

I have been looking into The North Face Box Shot, but I do not want to buy one and end up with a computer that cannot fit inside. So I am just wondering is anywhere aware of a North Face backpack that can fit the G73 inside snugly?

honestly i tried looking for you but to no luck did i find anything. your best bet is to go with the alienware orion bookbag i used to have the g73jh (now a proud owner of g73sw) and with either laptop this bag does it all and i feel like my laptop is 100% safe in this backpack a lot of padding and you can tell its a very durable bag with many pockets i usually have my laptop hdmi cable and power adapter in there and its very easy to carry doesnt add to much bulk and i can still fit a lot more stuff. Hope this helps :D

Yeah, that was my next bet, but I really wanted a North Face backpack. But I guess I've come to the decision to look into the Alienware Orion backpack then.

So I am not sure which one to get there is more than one size Alienware Orion backpack am I right? I have seen the 11.3, 17.3, 18.3. Or something like that. I am assuming I need to get the 17.3 or 18.3 Alienware Orion I am not sure on this.

Also another down fall on this backpack, is that I have heard that it is great, but the straps tend to get messed up easily I have heard from several reviews. That's the only thing that is making me iffy on getting this bag.

Wenger all the way for me. Even if it wasn't super durable like it is, they have a lifetime warranty. Plus they hold a ton of crap.

I also was afraid when i read those reviews but i went with my instinct and just got it and well my straps feel like there very durable i mean i don't see what people are doing to break them. and the version i have is the 17.3 and it fits my laptop perfect if you want a little more comfort ability get the 18.3

If you didn't mind the extra bulk I can wholeheartedly recommend the Swissgear-made backpack for the older Dell XPS M1730. It fits the G73 very well, it's very ruggedly made, and contains plenty of storage space for other items. I also have the Everki Beacon which, while smaller, is still very well-made and comfortable.

The Targus XL is good too. It's what I have, and Targus has a lifetime warranty too, but it's a mammoth, probably the biggest backpack out of all the ones mentioned so far, so that may not be to your taste.

I think I'll end up getting the Alienware Orion backpack then. It's the next closest thing to the North Face backpack. Haha I'll just rip the logo off I don't like it to be honest, but it's all good.

Thanks for the input guys! :)
