Hey there guys, I was just wondering if any of you guys tried playing some old games like Warcraft 3 or Diablo 2?

Or any games with the following screen resolutions:
    -640x480
    -800x600
    -1024x600/1024*768
    -1280x720

If you have, did you experience any errors?

    *WARNING*
To those who have not tried, do not! Until we can confirm people who have tried. It might PSOD your screen.

Any insights would be great :D

The resolution of Warcraft 3 can be changed in Regedit, before you run the game.

    Just go:
    Menu start
    regedit
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III\Video

double click in "reswidth", select decimal and type 1920
then double click in "resheight", select decimal and type 1080.

I tested in my g73 to play war3/dota. You will see how beautiful War3 will run!!!

Yes, i run War3 before, and i got a GSOD. Alt+F4, edit the resolution, and run again.

If you dont want to use "regedit", you can also utilise a free program called "warcraft version switcher". It has athe option to change resolutions too.

As I said on the opening of the thread, there was 1 guy who played diablo 2 and another who played a very small resolution, who PSODed their screens, I am just trying to confirm if its a widespread issue.

While in this instance I don't mind, but you really should ask the other party before posting private messages. That's why they are called, "private".
