So I recently bought a used g73 for around 450. Cleaned it up, moved data onto it, etc etc, updated vbios, no more gSODs, so everything seemed to be fine.

However, I left my laptop on this morning to finish up some steam downloads while I went out for a few hours. I came back, and my computer was still on but the screen was black and unresponsive. No problem, so I just shut if off. But once I turned it back on, the laptop power would frequently switch between AC and Battery. I tried fiddling with the plug by moving it around in the jack slightly, but it did't work. Even as I'm writing this, the battery mode/ac mode logo keeps spamming in the middle of my screen.

I shut my laptop off, disconnected the ac, removed the battery as well as any residual charge, and booted up the laptop. It's running only on AC right now but I still get the message that it's switching between AC and battery mode

I've been googling for a few hours and it seems something may be wrong with the DC jack and may need to get a new one, or smoething may be wrong with the mobo. Before I brin this into a shop, I just wanted to see if anyone else went through this specifically and if so what they did to solve it.

Well, I have a job interview in a few hours so I'm going to bed xD.

It could also be a brick issue but if it does it still with the battery out I'd say motherboard.
