SO, since i heard all the good stuff about dell version of the GC, and it was also cheaper than ASUS, i bought one for replacing my dying ASUS 5870.

I flashed it to A00 version, that fixed color issue, and the fan control seems to work only half ok, it's not at full speed, but i think it never increases from normal speed.

As a result the GPU overheats. I tried to fix that by setting fan speed to 100%.

Didn't help as much as i thought. In one standard 3DMark Vantage run, the GPU got to 107°C.

The paste job is good, was done with arctic silver 5, and i also had to cut off 3 pieces off, because the heatsink wouldnt fit otherwise.

Any1 has any ideas on how to proceed now?

I had a dell 5850m and it was very hot on MemIo
I dont know why but I tried several times to resolve this but Imy best temp was 93 C
Maybe is a low pressure on the GPU
    I used icdiamon 7

Already fixed it, seems that the contact wasnt as good as i thought.
had to sew off another part of heatsink because it leaned on VRM,
thus making the heatsink lift a bit off the GPU.
Temps at Furmark at 96°C max @ 3700RPM.

For OC, i'd have to force fans to 100% and thats is one music i dont like to listen to =)
will test how much cooler it is in furmark if fan @ 100%
