    Hello,

So I was going to sell my ASUS because I thought it was a hunk of junk, but after reading a few fixes on this site it's been working flawlessly again for 4 days and I just cannot stand to part with it. It's wonderful when it works....

I even had someone coming tonight to buy it for 600 dollars and in the Ad I said it doesn't work properly, but I've changed my mind and had to turn them down.

Anyyyywaaayy.... My question is this. I've researched, i know a lot about computers, but networking has always gone over my head.. I'm going to risk it and keep this computer, but one thing I HAVE to replace is the Atheros network card. But I don't know what is best to replace it with.

    Any help is greatly appreciated..

Here are three links to local computer stores in my City where I can go and pick up the card with ease. I'm not worried about installing it, I just have no idea which one to pick :O

Canada Computers | Computers, Computer Parts, Laptops, Hard Drives, PC Hardware & Accessories Sales

any suggetions would be greatly appreciated. I saw suggestions for the Intel 6200 a few places, but can't seem to find it anywhere.

if nothing local has anything worthwhile I will order online.

Thanks, and sorry for the headache, I managed to research everything else myself but for some reason when it comes to networking anything I just draw a blank.

I replaced my wireless card with a Centrino 6200 over a year ago and it worked flawlessly ever since. Replacing the card takes 5 minutes when you're not used to it and you then need to update the driver. I hesitated between a 6200 and a 6300 but I remember reading somewhere that a standard G73jh only has 2 antenna wire anyway so there is no reason to get s 6300.
