My wifi is turned off, I tried the function key to turn it on and off. I tried turning it on with the Fn+F2 keys to get it working, but only the bluetooth turns on and off, the wifi is always off. I was wondering if you guys have any tips or pointers on how I should troubleshoot the issue.

As a side note I a couple days ago I started hearing a weird beep with my laptop, I dont know if these are connected. The internet still works fine with a lan cable attached.

    Thanks

    - Kal

Have you checked Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections on your Windows 7 OS? Maybe the the Wireless Network Connection was disabled (icon is in gray color). Try enabling if it is disabled.

It is enabled. Im starting to believe this is a hardware error that is the result of the beeping I have been hearing.
