    Could someone that has received or is about to receive an X1 be so kind and measure the retail box weight and dimensions for me.

    Often times the stores that sell these laptops have their own box to pack things in. I remember when I bought my G1S it came with a really big box on the outside and the actual G1S box inside.

    FWIW, newegg's shipping has gotten worse over the years. They don't double box as they should.

    Bought a 22" Acer monitor few months back and they just shipped it in the Acer box.

    Luckily nothing was damaged. If I had to guess, newegg is just shipping these out in the box the G73 comes in.

    22.6" Long, 14.55" High, 4.3" Wide

    According to the scale at work, it weighs 13.45 lbs. total. Don't know how accurate that is though.

    Unfortuantely, that cardboard is in the garbage can in my office and I am home now. But from the looks of it, I would say no more than 1/4 of an inch????? I do know it was incredibly thin and light.
