I'm currently on 260.63 and it seems ok, but this was months ago and since then there has been many versions.

Can any G73JW owners comment on the newer drivers in terms of stability, performance etc?

The problem with those drivers from Asus the 261.14 is their old based. As in based on 259 series drivers and the performance in just about every game is terrible compared to 260.99 drivers which i run on my g73jw. Just my two cents on how things ran on my rig. :D

But isnt there still the issue with the 260.99 drivers? I can't install them previously.

Thanks for the replies. For 260.99, I've heard all you need to do is mod an inf file to support the 460m and its good to go. Rcjones, or anyone with 260.99, how is the stability and performance compared to 260.63?

The thing here (I know, old thread, but felt it should be known) is that the laptop companies like Sager or ASUS are modifying the hardware IDs on the cards and basically forcing you to download your drivers directly from them. I have found a small workaround for this which is to uninstall your current drivers then manually search for the drivers via Device Manager to install.

However, it would be nice if they STOPPED doing this because it makes it a freeking NIGHTMARE to do something as simple as update drivers.

In my experience, Sager comes out with the updates at an amazingly slow pace and have an even slower download speed.

    Frustrating...
