OK the computer stuffed up during the bios update and basically when you press the power button. The computer turns on and then automatically shuts off and then automatically turns on again and repeat. The monitor is blanked

Is there any possible way to fix this? The laptop is out of warranty so I rather try to fix this on my own.

I heard about putting bios in the usb drive and then turning on the computer whilst holding CTRL-HOME for a "crisis update" but you have to name the bios file right (I've read someone else doing it for an earlier asus laptop)

Anyone knows how to do this crisis update or have alternatives to fix this issue?

If there is an ASP near you, they could download the full BIOS from Asus and flash your EEPROM.
