After install BIOS Firmware Upgrade 209 pressing Fn+Esc keys does not freeze anymore. That's GREAT. But errors still occur. For example:
Asus Fancy Start utility leads to FREEZE system (like Fn + Esc).
I'm starting this utility and click on Sound button (orange button), then clicking on ASUS (no sound) then audio1 then audio 2 and so on up to audio5 slowly, after audio5 I'm return to first sound ASUS and repeat theese clicking (such as loop). After 6-7 clicking my notebook FREEZES (like Fn + Ecs).
Somebody try to do it.

not to be rude but fancy start utility might as well be called useless junk utility.
when i did fresh install it was first think i ticked off as "never install that junk" -
aside from this "problem" of urs, are there any other problems?
cuz i was considering ordering this lap, but 2 many problem posts.. -
idk-yet, it is great laptop, i wouldn't worry too much about problems, you got to remember that most people that got no issues don't come to forums to post "hey my laptop rocks and i got no problems"
I got my unit couple of weeks ago and have zero issues and couldn't be more happy with it. -
I understand you that many of utilities which preinstalled on system - are useless. But problem is not in it, because of such small problems then arise newer big problems, and solution of these problems now will save us of problems in the future. And if this problem arises for somebody it is possible to write to support service ASUS, and to ask them to solve the given problem.
I only wished to learn, somebody else will have this error or not
It is really difficult to make a notebook that it worked without problems?? For example a little known brand Gateway (P-7805U FX) - has worked one and a half year without any problems with hard and soft. -
At the time I was writing the clean install guide, I played around with FancyStart for a little while. Besides not being impressed with it's purpose, it seemed that every time I went into it's GUI and played around with the options it locked up the laptop. FancyStart is on my 'do not install' list.

I never had FancyStart lock up my pc. I went in, played with the settings, then deleted it as it's fairly useless (even moreso with an SSD as I only see that screen for a few seconds at best).
Possibly unrelated, but always a good question- do you have Creative drivers installed still? They've locked up other apps (usually having to do with sound) so it's worth a look into it. -
FancyStart runs way before any Creative software is loaded
-
Are you using version 1.08? It's the latest.
-
LOL, I know that. But he's brought up multiple sound functions that led me to believe that Creative software was getting loaded and potentially causing the problem. Also, Fancystart has a GUI in Windows to load the image of choice.
ASUS G73Jh. After BIOS 209 errors still occur
