    ASUS G73SW Drive Caddy Screws

    I just ordered a drive caddy from ASUS (for the extra, empty drive bay), but noticed it doesn't come with screws!

    ???

    Anyways, does anyone know the exact type of 2.5X5mm screws the ASUS G73SW takes, or has anyone ordered some that fit well?

    This is the site I was looking at, but there's multiple 2.5X5mm screw options:

    M2.5x5mm

    Anyone tell me which one, specifically, is the right one for this application, please?

    This is what I did for my G53JW. I assume something similar would work? Also, the reply after my post by Bigspin has a good suggestion to use a screw from the wi-fi card.

    Average Head Width: 4.40mm
    Average Head Thickness: 0.79

    Drive: Phillips

    I'll let everyone know the results. Since the HD caddy will be here before the screws, will use your suggestions in the interim.

    Received the screws. Although they weren't a perfect fit (the screw keeps turning instead of tightening further), they do fit, and seem to be doing the job as intended.

    That doesn't sound right. You should order more screws until you find some that work as intended. You can let us know when you find some that work. o_O
