    Hi Everyone.

Hope your guys are doing fine.

I own an Asus G74SX Notebook for around 3 Years now.
Its a great notebook. I had a RAM upgrade to 16 Gig and everything seems to be working fine.

All of a sudden my WiFi and Bluetooth stopped working.

I searched up the issues and found a lot of people had issues with the Atheros WLAN/BT Combo Card

    Brand Name: Atheros
    Model: AR5B195 (WiFi: AR5B195) (Bluetooth: AR3011)

I have been using a USB External WLAN Adapter for the time being, but i still have some issues with connecting to my 5GHz Network.

I tried to see if i can replace the Atheros WLAN/BT Module with an AzureWave Broadcom BCM94352HMB 802.11ac 867Mbps WLAN +BT 4.0 Half Mini PCIE Card

Please find the description here: http://www.amazon.com/AzureWave-Broadcom-BCM94352HMB-802-11-867Mbps/dp/B00IFYEYXC

Even though the PCi cards seem pretty similar to be replaced, I have concerns on compatibility or if this will affect the current Motherboard configuration

Please let me know your thoughts on this upgrade, if it will have an impact on the Motherboard or will it mess up the current configuration in anyway

    Thanks

I would go with an intel 7260AC half height card for the best performance.
