Hello ladies & gentlemen. I just reinstalled my W7 Home Premium on my G74Sx, and weird stuff is happening. My caps lock light is on, but I'm typing in lower case letters. When I turn off the caps lock, I start typing in all caps. And I cannot type any capital letters unless I turn on the caps lock.
I've never had this issue before. And this is the 3rd time I've reinstalled Windows on this laptop. I've solved 2 other very very strange problems that I've had since I re-installed Windows this last time.

Can someone please tell me how to fix my keyboard problem? I have run out of ideas,

Check the BIOS firmware on the laptop and make sure it is up-to-date.
When you reinstalled the OS, did you perform a clean install?

I did a clean install, I always do. But I have never done an upgrade to a BIOS before, can you tell me how to do it safely? I don't know which version of BIOS I have now, or anything about BIOS updating.

What's the current version of BIOS on your system?
The update process should be easy, see below for the BIOS and instructions.

    Version 203 is the latest.
