Greetings. I recently ordered a G75VW-NS71 and was planning on putting a Samsung 830 128gb SSD in it for the OS/games drive, and using the standard HDD for storage. My questions are:

    - Does the G75VW-NS71 come with two HDDs by default or just the one 500gb?
    - I hear it doesn't come with an OEM Win7 install disc. What's the easiest way to create one in order to get the OS onto the SSD? Will the "create restore disc" utility create a full install disc that I can use?

    This is the exact one that I ordered: Newegg.com - ASUS G75 Series G75VW-NS71 Notebook Intel Core i7 3610QM(2.30GHz) 17.3" 12GB Memory DDR3 1600 500GB HDD 7200rpm DVD±R/RW NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M

    Thanks!

That G75 comes with one Hdd and one empty bay. I believe the empty bay comes with a caddy (my G53 did, which I also ordered from Newegg).

You can make a disc or usb stick using an iso from this website. Your serial key or Windows key will be on the sticker on the bottom of your laptop.
