I just saw someone selling one of these for $630.

I might cop it but does this laptop have any known problems like with the graphics card or so or anything? or screen issues over time?

I noticed is has the 765M graphics card which is better than the 860M in some models according to GPU benchmark website.

    I currently have a G75VW with a 660M in it with the i7-3630QM processor.

I want to upgrade, as I am selling the G75VW for $600.

Any suggestions if this is worth it. I just want to make sure the ASUS G750JW-BBI7N05 is a good model, I hear a lot of people saying laptop gives out after about a year and the graphics card dies sometimes, but maybe they are moving it around too much.

Any suggestions if I should get this upgrade for an additional $30?

For $30 extra it is a boost, while it is not proper MXM it does use an ASUS custom PCB which can be replaced for like (or maybe a higher model from the same series with some bios modding).

What is MXM exactly Meaker? Thanks for always helping out Meaker and responding to my posts :D

Not sure what you exactly meant, by an ASUS custom PCB, but overall is it worth to upgrade, I am not sure how well this model performs, or is it known to have buggy issues with the screen, GPU, or anything of any sort.

MXM is the mobile graphics standard, it defines the connector, electrical standard, mounting holes etc.

Asus like to borrow bits and do custom parts in other areas. In this case they use a card but non standard shape and mounting. This means you can't use any normal MXM card but it is on a card you can replace with the same part while keeping the motherboard and all other parts.
