I was looking through the drivers page for the GL502VS and found a new SKU under it: GL502VS K

After some searching, it looked like the mobile Kaby Lake Quad cores are planned for Dec 16 release.

I looked the drivers and there don't seem to be any other hardware changes.

Most leaked benchmarks seem to show the increase in performance to be marginal (~5%) if you factor in the clock speed increase.
Otherwise, the performance increase is 10-15%

    What do you all think!

who knows. i thought KL quads wouldn't be released until after CES in january

But looking further into the vsk drivers, it appears they are adding Thunderbolt to the 502VS.
