I just bought a GL552VW and I want to upgrape memory from 8 to 16.

    Memory is installed is 8GB 1Rx8 PC4 - 2400T - SA1 - 11

According Asus web site Max memory is DDR4 2133 MHz SDRAM, 2 x SO-DIMM socket hasta 16 G SDRAM

Is better to buy a ddr4 with 2400 ? or it dosn have sense?.

If I gonna buy a 2133 i was thinking to install a moduel of 16GB to in the future install another 16 and have dual chanel

depends on whether the mother board can suppose 2400 for gl552vw the asus page states can support 2133 only so if u use ram with 2.4k mhz u wil not utilize the ful potiental
