I recently purchased the ASUS GL702VM-BHI7N09 laptop from Best Buy, and wanted to know:
    Laptop link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-1...ack-anodized-aluminum/5580042.p?skuId=5580042

    1) Where do I check for official BIOS updates to the GL702VM-BHI7N09 laptop?

    2) How do I backup the existing the GL702VM-BHI7N09 BIOS on this laptop?

    3) How would I flash the GL702VM-BHI7N09 BIOS to the latest version?

    4) After I flash this BIOS to the latest version, is it possible to downgrade the BIOS in the future?

Why do you feel the need to update it?

The Pascal ROG Strix GL502/GL702 thread has many posts about complaints of high temps on the ASUS GL702VM with replies to those posts indicating that the recent ASUS BIOS updates have resulted in lower temps; which is why I want to upgrade the BIOS on the ASUS GL702VM-BHI7N09.

Do you suffer from high thermals to need the BIOS update?

How would I be able to test if I suffer from high thermals? Would you recommend a software that checks the temps and would you recommend a software that stress tests this CPU; so I can check if my laptop suffers from high thermals?

HWiNFO - and just play games. If your thermals are above 90*C - then it's worth looking at Intel XTU and undervolting the CPU.

I downloaded HWINFO, and installed it. However, since I don't have any games I can think of to test if my thermals are above 90*C is there another any other way to test if my thermals go above 90*C?
