    ASUS GL720VM: How would I install Windows 7 over Windows 10?

    I recently purchased the ASUS GL702VM-BHI7N09 laptop from Best Buy, and found that the ASUS GL752VW which has the same i7-6700HQ processor as this laptop was able to have Windows 7 (64-bit) successfully installed over the default Windows 10 installation as explained in the link below.
    How would I be able to install Windows 7 over the Windows 10 installation on the ASUS GL720VM-BHI7N09?

    SSD is NMVe or SATA III? For Windows 7 on SATA you need Legacy mode

    you need to make your own win7 iso modified with usb 3.0 drivers. There are instructions on google.

    then you can install with usb drive.
    you have to change a few bios settings before it will let you install. ... fast boot disable, launch csm enabled, secure boot disabled. to go into legacy mode.

    How would I check if I have a NMVe or SATA III SSD?

    How would I backup all the drivers on my Windows 10 default installation before I install Windows 7?

    put them in a folder, or just download them again from asus.com
