    Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I posted here since I've been happy with my G73SW. However, for the past few weeks I've been struggling trying to find the best driver for my 460M.

For a long time I was using 285.38, which came out with BF3. This was a beta driver and it would occasionally crash in EVE Online and Red Orchestra 2. I decided to upgrade to 301.42, but that ended up giving me strange artifacting (horizontal lines) on near-blacks that really looked horrible. I switched to 296.10 and still had this problem.

Today I moved back to 285.38 and everything was fine. However, I didn't want to use this because, as I said, it crashed every now and then. It seemed to me that the crashes were getting more frequent, too. Trying to find a solution, I went to the ASUS site and downloaded their 285.74 release. The install went well, but PhysX software wasn't included in the installer.

When I run GPU-Z now, it says PhysX isn't available. Are all the ASUS drivers PhysX-less? There is this standalone installer on Nvidia's site, but it is version 9.12.0613 I know the 285.38 driver package contained PhysX 9.11. Does anyone have any experience with a similar situation?

EDIT: I've extracted the 258.38 exe using WinRAR and found that it includes an installer for PhysX 9.11.0621. Would it be a good idea to give this a run instead of 9.12.0613?
