LOL nice twist. I meant are there any issues that might cause some dissatisfaction like the broken screens?

Well all makes and models have a certain amount of defective units. I spend a lot of time in the ROG Forums so we see a lot of the problems. But there are no particular flaws. You might pay attention to the type screen is on the one you want there seems to be quite a few problems for some people. This was with the G75 and G750, it seems the 1080 Glossy has the least problems. I have a non glare 1080 and no problems at all. If you have time check out the forum I linked, just remember that most people that find there way there are trying to solve some problems and most of the solutions are there. These are gaming machines and certain amount of technological knowledge is advisable. My G75VW is almost 2 years old it is still bad to the bone for me.

One thing you should know if you don't already all G750JH are not equal, there are several versions Screens are one of the options along with SSD VS hard drives or some have 2 msata card raid configure. If I were buying one I would get one from a custom builder and get it just like I want it with better tech support, Asus Tech Support pretty much sucks

If in doubt, you can go through a reseller who will have their own testing before shipping, you wait longer than a shop like newegg but certain issues get weeded out. There are many to choose from too.

    Classic Shell • Index page
First thing run Asus Backtracker to create a restore media USB Thumb Drive to return to as shipped condition.
Run Furmark full screen 1080 and watch your temps shouldn't get much over 80C on a 15 minute burn in.
Same thing for your CPU Burn in test it for at least 15 minutes. CPU shouldn't get much over70C
This will assure you that your CPU and GPU have a good pasting
You'll want to test everything before dumping all your games and software in, Just incase and you'll have a bench mark that everything was working so if something stops or stutters you'll know it's the software and not the hardware.
Have fun with that bad boy ;)

Just incase don't know Classic Shell

    Download FurMark - MajorGeeks
Doesn't sound good you might want swap it out if you can. What are your idle temp CPU and GPU
my Ambient temp is 23C and my cpu is like 42C GPU is 42C. besides the 4 gadgets I run I have 6 IE 11 tabs open to different forums
have you run Furmark yet that will tell you right off if you have a video card problem?

The laptop is pretty much out at the supplier level so a replacement is a no go. Might just ask for a partial refund if possible... Quite a shame to lose a few hundred bucks though.

    G750 Series Notebooks
You might want to jump into the ROG Forum, PM cl-albert he is our Customer Loyalty rep here in the states, he can hook you up with a CL in your area. These guy's can be very helpful if you want to just get it fixed. I.ve RMA mine twice first was a simple thing Bass Speaker not working, got it back still not working. 2nd time I worked with cl-albert and got back a very solid notebook no problems since.
Hmm I thought all reputable dealers would have at least a 30 day return window?

PS TapTalk won' work with the ROG forum

I'm just returned it minus the restocking fee... Shame really: had the potential to be great but the niggling problems really hampered the experience.

What exactly didn't you like about this notebook? I am asking this because I was thinking of buying this powerhouse from ASUS too.

I had to choose between a AW M17xR4 and Asus ROG G75JX and the touch and feel of the AW is much better than the Asus. If you pay that amount of money for a laptop then it must feel decent.

I saw very faint vertical lines between the pixels and that does not go well when I do design stuff. The audio through headphones is terrible too: I would get a terrible hissing sound after stopping a video and to me it sounded very tinny on both over ear and in ear headphones.

I don't know if the one I got was a dud or if I am seeing things.

Been searching for the bad sides of the g750jh and it seems they are: The difficulty to maintain, bleak black look, the partitioned SSD disk space (for some a annoyance) and enormous power consumption even in idle as there is no onboard chip.

If I were choosing a model and did not want to fiddle about inside I would have a touch choice between the alienware and the Asus, I might lean towards the asus to be honest.
