The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ASUS Repair turnaround time?

    I just received my refurbished g73jh-RBBX05 from Newegg and the DVD drive does not register in the BIOS. I tried different drives, flashed the BIOS to 211..nothing. My first day!!! I checked with Newegg and they are out of stock, so I called ASUS. I can't believe I have to pay for shipping!! My question is what kind of turnaround time can I expect? They will receive it in CA on Tuesday. Thanks!!
