I first wanted to buy g750 jx asus but is out of stock. GTI is same price and same specs but you get free ssd 128 gb inside so that is a big plus.

People complain about G750 screen, that it is rubbish matte screen and about the sound.

MSI has I guess very good sound system and what about the screen, is it bad like ASUS g750?

While I personally love my G750JX due to how silent it runs (the MSI is supposedly quite loud), it's hard to ignore the SSD. If you had your own SSD to plug in the Asus, then go for the Asus, if not MSI is probably the better choice (assuming loudness isn't an issue).

Do note that gaming-wise, ssds only offer faster loading times (not to mention with a 128gb you'll be able to install 1-2 games on it max in addition to OS and programs). Where SSDs really shine is fast launching of programs and a general feel of snappiness. The fps of your game is unlikely to change because of presence or lack of an SSD.

litle fan nois aint gonna bother me, but asusers complain about the sound and screen, MSI users never complain about that, so that is a plus, yes I need ssd only for loading windows faster, otherwise I dont care, and big factor is also that MSI opens up easily and you can access fans, memory, HD ..... with g750 you cant clean the vents anymore

and asus is much longer so it does not fit into my suitecase so well, MSI has regular size

. The reviews I have read on Notebookcheck show that they both use the same chi mei screen amongst others in there 17.3 inch models. I have the G75VX and the screen does have the grain on light backgrounds but I don't notice it. The contrast and black levels and subsequently contrast are amazing, the blacks are blacks not greyish. The viewing angles are great for a TN panel as well. As for the color accuracy I'm not sure but its fine for me.

The matte screens for ASUS suck big time. I learned my mistake from my prevoius G75VW ann ow I got the 3D / Glossy screen for my G750JX and it's perfect! all those horror stories about horizontal lines and whatnot are for the matte screen it is so grainy and dull.

This G750JX is awesome with a 3D screen and the sound with the latest drivers is very loud and clear

the initial drivers had the sound very low and dull

They can be swapped for other displays from a reseller though.
