I need help. I bought the ASUS: G60Vx used. from, Newegg.com. I bought it for the use of gaming "Steam" Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and so on. But, the volume keys don't work. The volume keys are on "F10" (Mute) "F11" (Lower Volume) and "F12" (Increase Volume). I need help. They don't work. I searched the whole laptop. I do not see any other volume control on the laptop what so ever, besides on the laptop screen "destop". The ASUS: G60Vx didn't come with a manual either. Please help me!

You reinstalled everything under the ATK section on the drivers page?
-
why don't you just increase/decrease volume from the taskbar man (LOL @ man)
-
Hard to do that. while playing a game.
Ill retinstall again >.<
Like I do not see another VOLUME CONTROL anywhere else on the laptop, besides on F10: MUTE, F11: DECREASE, and F12: INCREASE the VOLUME. -

Is it that your volume hotkeys don't work at all, outside of the game on your normal desktop, or that they don't work inside a game?
Not all games will let you change the volume from within the game, since they trap the keyboard and the hotkey handler will never know you are pressing those keys. -
It doesn't work. Period D: Why would they even make volume keys on the F keys -______-
-
Do, I have to activate something before to use them. Or what? Press a certain button to make them work. Ugh.

All Asus models have the same hotkeys.
Uninstall the ATK stuff. Reboot. Reinstall everything in the ATK drivers list. Your hotkeys should work after that. -
Can you add me on Steam? Kinda of a pain to ask you questions. I did. Hard to explain.
