Okay, I just read that 11.3 will be out next week but I'm going to give these a whirl.

Edit: Installation success. I can't test any games right now cause I'm at work.

I'll wait maybe for an official release or more feedback. I hope it helps with Crysis 2! Maybe with Bulletstorm too, would be good.

Why people hesitate in test a beta driver which is intended for preview the upcoming AMD FUSION processors, the news CPUs and APUs. For course the included GPU optimizations but they will be included in next CCC releases. This Catalyst included different CCCs depending the platform present in your unit (CCC, ECC or CPCC). Of course for us, it installs the normal CCCs.

This driver works much better for me than 11.2. Blacks Ops, TDU2, BFBC2, and a few other games run much smoother. I also noticed Black Ops seems to load faster than before. I may just skip 11.3 and stick with this one.

For me, it's not about looking at the fps, it's about how smooth the game runs. Black ops is capped @ 85fps, before, the fps would be all over the map. Now I have a more steady frame rate. That's good enough for me.

    Edit:Holy crap!

I just played some BC2 and my frames have increased TREMENDOUSLY!

    Amazing amazing amazing amazing drivers!!!!

Anyone else getting hard freezes in BC2 though? I'll play for 30 minutes and my laptop will just lock up :S

Easy install for me. I think my FPS In a few games might have stabilized a little bit, seem to not be seeing as many drastic fluctuations. But honestly, that could be in my head. So far they are 100% stable and the install was straight forward with no problems.

It was similar to that but it has never happened until I install 11.4.

EDIT: I went back to 10.11 and the issue still remains.

Anyone know how to fix this? I think it could be Creative related now.

Remove all creative software and test it out. It's not very painful to uninstall/reinstall that software.

Alright thanks, I'll uninstall, remove with driver sweeper and then see if I still crash.

    UPDATE:

I uninstalled creative but I still got the hard freeze.

I'm going to install 10.10 and see if it still persists, Anyone with BFBC2 and 11.4 can fire it up and tell me if you're getting the crash too?

It comes after 20-30 minutes of gaming.

Just played BFBC2. These drivers are absolutely disco for me. HUGE performance improvements. BFBC2 runs at 1080p HIGH @ solid 60-70 FPS. I used to run the same at 34 FPS on older drivers.

It was true for pretty much all the drivers before this one. I don't know what the boys at Guru3D did, but it's just stabilized all my games for me. Measuring with Fraps.

Agreed. In fact, I generally prefer nvidia, so seeing ATI drop a huge update this late in the game is refreshing.

just tried this 11.4 driver, there are definitely improvments on BFBC2, but from 34fps to 60fps sounds too good to be true.

i find out by turning off vsync and the HBAO thing, fps just doubled! however the graphic do looks better with them on

    A 200% performance improvement? Really?

At 1080p, 1xAA, 4xAF, HBAO off and vsync off, i dont get anywhere near that kind of improvement.....

    30+ to 60-70 is about a 100% improvement not 200 ,

that being said, it did improve my performance quite abit but it gave me around 10 fps from 40+ to 50+,

    still, very good though :D

If you read around, everyone's G73 is different. There are people who run Crysis 2 smooth on Hardcore mode, and some struggle with even gamer settings at 720p. For me, these drivers did in fact almost double my FPS. I'm sure the patches released for BFBC2 over the past year contributed to this as well.

That makes no sense. The GPU's are the same you know. Its probably due to overheating. Mine has no issues at all and runs cool.. Anyways where are the 11.3 drivers or there's not going to be 11.3?

How do I install them? I have a bunch of files displayed in winzip, many exes and dlls and such, which one should I install?

Also, do I need to perform a certain action to install it? Or is it needed to be installed 1 by 1?
