Nope hwinfo32 works good too. Wow you're really seeing that much of a drop then? lol I would try to confirm it myself on/with my system but everytime I load the GPU significantly with these drivers my computer freezes :(

It's not Maverick, but clicking this link just brought up the AV8 Virus Scam trigger. Imageshack is now dead to me. Be careful and never fall for such triggers.

    I'm seeing a 2-3 degree temperature jump with 11.1, over 10.11a.

I'd really like to try this out, but it seems like everyone is having more problems than positives. I'm still on 10.10 and I never have any problems.

Can anyone report any positive reasons to update?

No problems for me, ValkerieFire. I would say my temps are about the same and the performance is the same. I've been ate up with World of Warcraft lately, though so that's all I'm playing. It's not very demanding on the G73 but it plays as well as ever and the temps are excellent.

I was having a BSOD every once in a great while due to the 10.12 driver so I was in a hurry to get away from it.

Hmm, I noticed that my GPU load fluctuates/does not stay at 100% with these in Starcraft 2. And thus my FPS fluctuate/are choppy as well. Not good. Has anybody else experienced this ??

I did not uninstall the 10.12 or sweep or CClean ... just installed over the 10.12 and it all updated fine and device manager shows the 8.812.0.0 as it should. No problems so far and temps are the same.

My in-game temps are about the same, but furmark pushes it 2-3 degrees higher.

Any noticable improvement in games as advertised? What about other games such as BFBC2?

I've started having microstutter in demanding games since I updated. I'm going to downgrade back down to a different driver number.

I got some artifact today after a long session of CoD Black Ops, dunno if it was the game or the GPU, but It definitly loocked like a GPU screen artifact, basically I could not move and the screen got replaced by a blue/brow chess like background, altrough the PC/OS did not freeze...

I think it might be because of the game itself. I run most games without AA as I get corruption in Darksiders and most other games look fine and play smooth enough. I think the mileage may vary depending on if you run AA or not.

Sorry dude...I just noticed this post as I was searching for issues with F1 2010. I cannot set particles and few other settings to ultra. ALso in the hardware config file it detects only 716 MB of ram for the 5870M.

Btw...yes...I ahve those 1 second stuttering. Did u loose it when u downgraded to 10.10?
