Hey guys just updated to the new vBIOS and no problems so far. Was wondering though, what is a safe clock and I can use to improve my gameplay to its maximum without damaging anything in my cpu? I think right now its currently at 700/1000. Thanks so much for the help guys!

It varies from machine to machine. You'll need to start moving your clocks upwards and do stability testing. Getting a 800/1100 isn't unreasonable hope/expectation. Some can go higher, some can't. Also, overclocking your GPU won't hard your CPU, but you might have just made a mistake. As long as you are not adjusting voltages and only playing with clocks OC'ing is very safe as long as you keep an eye on your temperatures.

Which program can record my GPU temps and CPU temps? In addition how will I be able to test these temps (Playing games?) and what is a temp that I should not go over?

I know GPU-Z will do what your asking for the gpu, and while im not on my G73 atm, I believe what I use for my core temps is CoreTemp lol

And yes, you will be able to log and look at this temps for games. My CPU only ever goes into the high 60's and my GPU in the mid to high 80's

AMD GPU Tool listed in my GSOD Resources link can monitor and also record temps to a file.

Usually around 800/1100 is about the 'safest' overclock most get. however, you're going to want to ramp up slowly, testing the whole way through, until you find the numbers that work for your setup, since every machine is different.
