Hey guys. I'm about to reinstall windows for the 5th time due to problems i can't fix. I just wanted to ask a few questions and get some tips before I do it. Hopefully this time it will last longer.
1) does it help if i delete most of the stuff-> steam and origin games
2) Does it make a difference whether I install on a primary or logical partition? It does not allow me to extend the primary.
3) Every time I clean install i get a 100mb partition. Is it necessary to have this? does it affect performance? How do get rid of it?
4) Anything else I should know apart from what's on the clean install guide?
Please any advice would be helpful. Already know how to get the drivers and stuff

Regarding question
1) If you're doing a clean install you shouldn't even bother manually deleting any programs beforehand, because they'll be wiped any way.
2) I don't know.
3) The 100MB partition that installs along with Windows 7 is a startup recovery partition that you might need to use if in case you weren't able to boot into Windows. I've had occasions when I've had to run the startup recovery, usually right after I install the OS or if I mess around with the drive order in the BIOS. It doesn't affect performance but I wouldn't recommend getting rid of it.
Etc.)
I have some advice regarding your Steam installation.
If you don't want to go through the hassle of re-downloading or reinstalling your Steam games, consider moving your Steam folder to a secondary drive (external or internal) before you wipe your OS drive. Just move it back after you install Windows and then download and run the Steam setup. You could also consider just keeping your Steam installation on the secondary drive, which is what I do. It saves me a lot of trouble whenever I do a clean OS reinstall. Plus, since I keep it on an external drive I can easily play my Steam games on my friends' computers. If you want to go that route, then just download and run the Steam setup, after you've installed your OS, and set the installation directory to where you moved your Steam folder before you wiped the OS.
