    Alright guys, here's my situation:
I ordered an ASUS G73JH back in July 2010 from XoticPC and it's been one of the best decision I've made. Everything runs perfectly smoothly with no issues and I did have problems with an overheat shutdown once or twice but after using compressed air through the vents, that seems to have stopped too (I got the thermal paste upgrade when I ordered it so I was determined to find a non-repaste solution). The thing is, I've seen how Gary Key and the community have found solutions to almost all the problems and I have a question. All my drivers are stock as of now and I've never upgraded them. Do you advise to upgrade my ATI catalyst drivers or my BIOS? If so, which ones should I upgrade to and why? Thanks in advance!

In my signature select the "what to do with your new G73jh" link. Use the info there to update your bios, vbios, Catalyst, and creative software if you want.

If you are going to update your beast's drivers or software, better NOT do it on one time big time.

Considering you're still on stock drivers, bios, etc, it would be difficult to diagnose arising problems when you install/update bunch of drivers on wholesale.
