    Ok i just got aero working again, it turns off on battery saver mode anyone know how to make it so it stays on, also my turbo boost button and splendid button stopped working again. I didnt uninstall the programs, i think its the windows updates that are screwing things up, btw is it safe to install sp1 now.

    Right click the Desktop, select Personalize, and select any Aero Theme.

    If you are in Quiet Office or Battery Savings mode with P4GH, and on battery, it will disable Aero. You can open up the app and adjust those settings.

    Ok, ill try to look for the settings in P4GH. Also it seams that my Turbo boost and splendid and Backlight button stopped working. The Backlit button only lights up the 3 buttons and the power button. Im guessing i uninstalled something, any ideas.

    IF you press the button 4 consecutive times do you see the various on screen displays? If not, Try reinstall of the ATK package. If you do not have version ATK Package 1.0.0008
    remove the old one and install the latest from here

    Yea i dont see the animations. I am trying to re install the ATK package, splendid, and P4GH. However i keep getting an 3 errors when trying to re install the ATK package.

    Update-- ok as of right now i have everything working. If anyone knows where the settings to enable aero in P4GH are located it would be a great to know.
    Oh yea does anyone know if installing sp1 is safe or not. I herd it messes with some of the drivers.

    shawnamin, I can only speak for me, I downloaded the SP1 from Microsoft and ran it standalone and have not had any problems related to it. I normally have update set to check but let me choose wether to download and install .

    Ok so I installed sp1 and everything is working fine, found the settings to enable aero looks like I finally got my laptop set up, now I can finally break this baby in.
