tl;dr: After RMA, G73JH lightbar + keyboard lights doesn't work. Flashing "fixmykb" doesn't work nor does reinstalling the ATK package or Windows (combined with some more flashing).

Hi, I recently bought my G73JH here in Sweden and everything seemed to work OK. However within 24 hours I had 2 BSODs due to intelppm.sys (CPU drivers) which the second resulted in an unbootable system (lights switch on, nothing else). Anyway, I RMA:ed it and recentely got it back with a new motherboard, a new cpu and what I can see with 2GB extra memory free of charge.

But the lightbar under the screen and the keyboard lights doesn't work. I have tried the keyboard fix flash thingy two times, one on the 211 firmware which was installed by the repair guys and another on the 211 firmware which I flashed when the first try didn't work.

When I flash it with the fix I get a simple console output with some asian characters at the top left corner and some text which ends in something like "return 0" (or was it "result 0"?) at the bottom. I don't know if this is what you mean by "Flash completion screen" but it sure doesn't validate in my book as a completion screen.

Anyway, so the lightbar AND the keyboard lights doesn't work. I've also reinstalled Windows 7 completely from scratch due to the fact that the Intel CPU drivers resulted in a BSOD even with the new motherboard and cpu, and I'm not taking any chances with those drivers anymore. When I reinstalled I also installed the ATK package, which I also reinstalled after each flashing attempt to see if that fixes the keyboard lights. The only change that combined with the flashing has introduced is that Fn+F3 and Fn+F4 now is seen as a valid hotkey and shows me the brightness thingy OSD, unflashed it isn't.

I haven't seen any other post about the lightbar not working, so is this a new problem, solveable or unsolveable? Any ideas on what to do next?
