I know this isnt exactly an issue with the laptop, but it seems out of all the computers I have running W7, only the G73 encounters this issue.

To be more specific I have itunes and chrome pinned to my taskbar. When i click on either program to open it, a duplicate icon appears on the superbar (a low res version at that )

I've tried reinstalling the programs to no avail. Pinning the duplicate icons then unpinning the original ones doesnt work as well, and oddly enough the lowres duplicate "morphs" into a hires one once the original icon is unpinned (once i click on the pinned "duplicate" icon, a new duplicate appears)

The only thing that seemed to work (only for chrome though) is running it in vista compatibility mode. It seems like a cruddy workaround, and I was hoping i could get some advice from you guys on what I need to be doing.
