    Well.. apparantly there is a problem with bad lemons..

    Personally I have none.. worked like a dream out of the box.

    it seems most lemons come down to something with the gpu and a couple of keyboard/led lights have popped up lately

    Mine had problems with the factory installed software. For more information click the link in my sig and then do a search for the word 'Creative'. Since then things have gone rather smoothly. Well, except for that one time I tried to install a Microsoft theme pack and the G73JH blue screened. :(

    my G73 got the GPU problem and the system freezes in 10 mins if I start WAR3

    There is a MAJOR problem with this notebook. If you don't get it, you will go into a deep depression with guilt over the fact that you overlooked this notebook to buy your inferior/overpriced notebook.

    I am starting to agree! I love my alienware but the higher end tech in there and i am more of a single gpu dude anyway, that's the best single gpu on the market lol, and all that ram lol, whats the weight of the machine?

    so far 5 lemons out of over 100
    in the first 4 weeks i had 4 lemons. in the recent weeks only one out of the latest and largest shipment. The qc is better now i think. Anything over 1% rma rate on a new notebook is too high. So i am not happy but glad the rma rate went down from 15% in the first few weeks to single digits now.

    I've had my X1 since the 2nd week of February (got mine order the first day it showed up on Newegg) and haven't had a single problem with it. It runs perfectly and grabbing it when it was $1429 and still shipping with a full set of recovery discs, 1333mhz RAM, I feel somewhat lucky.
