Hi guys, I'm new here. Just in the market for a gaming laptop and I was all set on the MSI GT73VR (with GTX 1070 and 120hz screen) when I noticed a new model of Asus G752VS with 120hz IPS, Kabylake and overlocked 1070.
Of course, it's around $300 more but I'm willing to increase my budget if the build quality and cooling are good (and screen quality of course!) I'm particularly concerned about heating problems with the increased specs.
If anyone has bought one of these or has any information about them, I'd very much appreciate it!![]()
Edit: Looks like the screens are 'IPS-type'

I've had the G752VS and the overall experience was very poor.Spartan@HIDevolution likes this. -
How is the screen quality and build quality of the GT73VR? Would you recommend it above other 120hz gaming laptops?

whether you go with the ASUS or the MSI, I recommend you go with a good re-seller so they can provide you with better customer service/support as ASUS and MSI support is atrocious but MSI's laptops are awesome. I had many bad experiences with more than 7 ROG laptops in the past so I don't recommend them usually.

Anyone bought the new G752VS with 120hz IPS screen (and Kabylake)?
