    for some reason when I press ctrl+space it changes my input to chinese, even if I don't have chinese in the languages, it just adds it, I am thinking that the drivers made from Asus just add Taiwan in the list, (a mistake from local programmers there?)
    apparently it may be a windows issue http://social.answers.microsoft.com...e/thread/f01de525-73b2-4c4e-969e-b5aa001c0eb7
    but still doesn't explain the chinese language I never added (I don't recall anyway)

    nope, I think I may have added chinese language sometimes by accident or for some unknown reason, and once you do it you can't disable it, it's a bug in windows for a long time apparently, since Vista

    @kurtkokaine I tried to disable it, it changes the shortcut to ctrl+space immediately , I tried to change the shortcut to something like alt++pagedown (that you won't click ) but it seems that the shortcut is registered with many chinese languages, honestly Microsoft screw you

    I had the same issue. This crap would happen while playing Bad Company 2 on steam mid-game!! Imagine the frustration...anyway heres the fix;

    For Win7;
    -Start > Search Box > Control Panel
    -Select 'change keyboard or other input methods' under 'clock, language, region'
    -click on 'change keyboards...'
    -under the General tab is a box on the bottom, select all the chinese and choose 'remove'
