Hey,
I was just hoping someone has access to some G73JH (TZ008X) Recovery CDs. I didn't burn some and I've been using a clean install of windows. Went to the recovery (F9) and the partition must have been corrupt...
Anyway, not i have no recovery partition and no CDs so I was wondering if anyone could upload a set for me.
I've looked everywhere and cant seem to find them. Asus wants $40 for them. and It will take a week to get here so I was hoping someone could help me out.
Thanks,
Brett

G73/74/53 Series Driver and Application Reference
Download the Universal Windows 7 ISO at the top of the page just below the Driver Application files....dunno why I am saying this its is much easier to just give you the link haha
Here.
The site is being worked on at the moment you might have to check back later if you cannot download. -
Not after a clean install. Im after the actual Recovery disks, as stated.
Thanks anyway. -
Brett, not to argue, but from what I have read the disks work in conjunction with the partition on the HDD. If your machine is running well I would suggest creating an image to an USB hard drive.
I may be wrong, but I do not see what good having the recovery DVD's would do for you.
If this http://recovery-disks.com/asus/g73-series/asus-g73jh.html is what ASUS wants to sell you they can be had for free from the link Dallers posted above. -
The recovery discs are created using the facility built in by Asus. It is a pile of crap. The best thing to do if your OS is busted will be to use Chastity universal installation disc as Josea said there is no need for the original discs as it is no different you just use the windows 7 code from the base of your model.
Also as Josea said if your OS is not busted you can do what most do and create a bloatware free, driver ready image as its always good to have an immediate backup.
