    Hi -

Just got the G74s and it has an installed webcam. It turned itself on once in Windows Messenger so I know it can work. Also, the Windows 7 found the drivers and confirmed they are working properly. Only problem is that I can not find out how to operate them. No "on/off" buttons anywhere.

    Please help.

    Thank you!

It is normal, it will be turned on by the software that uses it when needed. It's always been like that for notebook webcams. Try starting it using live frame or skype and you'll see it in action ;).

    Hi TIho -

Thanks for that. actually, I tried to use skype but am having problems with. There is no option for finding contacts on my download. Without contacting someone, I can't initiate the video call and turn on the camera.

Do you know if there is any software I should install so that I can create videos teaching videos using the installed camera?
