This is weird...starting today, actually BEFORE the Windows Updates were posted (and still present after installing all of them), I have listed as an Important/Recommended Update ATK - Input - ATK0100 ACPI UTILITY.
It's 24KB, it says it was published 4/12/12, says "released on October 2006".
ATK is Asus' drivers for the special buttons on their notebooks, I think, and I do have those installed for my N80, but...this is all weird.
I've tried installing it and it fails-didn't even WANT to install it as I've never seen what appears to be a vendor type driver listed as an important update before, so this seems weird...
Anyone seeing this? I mean I can hide it, but I'd like to know what it is.

I have a g53 and did not see it.

I should have also said that I already have Asus' ATK software installed on here from their site from when I set this install up a few years ago. The "Fn + x" keys work fine (actually the strip of special buttons above the keyboard doesn't...forgot they exist lol). It's just since Tuesday, right before the patches were released that Microsoft started insisting I needed this 24KB ATK "important update".
I can just hide it, but it's making me vaugly nervous that it's showing up, lists as important, and won't even install. -
Thanks tijo and Chastity.
Anyone seeing ATK-Input important update today in Windows Update?
