Do I have to have power-4-gear installed to get lower battery clocks? I am on standard window scheme - power saver.
Ati power play is enabled and set to max battery life.

lower baterry clocks deppends from the vbios
i am using 70/100 for baterry and videos in baterry mode
cool -
Thanks so you do not need power-4 gear? Did you do your own Vbios (I do not know how to mod) or get it off from Chastity's signature forum link?
I really appreciate the response B4 this post fell off the 1st page.
I am looking to extend battery life if possible while not gaming. Your temps must be in the 40's ?? -
45 C i think when on 70/100
yeah chastity's modded vbios is good i've been using those clocks for a couple of months (100/150) but now i've gone even lower and stable -
I give up 10 char

i have no diff between my 70/100 and 30/86 maybe 0,25W at all... u can save a lot of power when ur Downclock ur GDDR5 below 200... under it theres no much difference
-
but there is someting interesting when i am on 70/100 videos don't go to 400/1000(UVD) but they stay on 70/100 which is pretty nice to have videos on that clock
p.s when i was on 100/150 baterry then when i've watched videos my clocks were goint to 400/1000(UVD)
make your own conclusion... -
And i have only the HD+ Display
Are lower clocks on battery available
