    Arma II Disc won't read

    Does the G73JH not have a dual layer disc drive? :(

    My disc won't read...

    I put it in and it just whirs and repeats for a few moments and the computer doesn't even read a disc inside the drive.

    it reads , I installed call of duty mw3 without anyprobs , and it was a dual layer disc , even my 7 years old toshiba laptop reads that mw3 dual layer disc.

    Is there a firmware update for the DVD drive for the asus g73jh? Seems a lot of other individuals updated their DVD drive firmware and fixed the issue. I can't seem to find any update yet.

    Could be the lens is dirty or the drive is on it's way out as well.

    Those are the two showing in device manager if this helps in solving this issue. ._.

    Edit: It's reading my other discs just fine though. Maybe it's just the disc :mad:

    From what I remember, flashing the bios was risky. Any risks involved with this flash or what am I reflashing exactly?
