    Asus 230w charger with ID pin, can mod for g73jh?

    So i got an Asus branded charger with the wrong plug on accident in a moment of stupidity. I popped it open and it has an ID pin on it. Will the power supply still work even if i do not connect the id pin? I was planning to just solder the power and ground and be on my way.

    well, it works!

    but it was my first time soldering and it looks awful to say the least.......i dont wanna talk about it....but it works

    Just ignore the ID pin and its fine
