    hi!

One of the G73 holders in the french forum received from ASUS an email with attached the Bios 210 version to be released shortly.
He has placed the file available for download here.
I don't have any information regarding what this version is supposed to fix...

No, as I'm waiting for the 211 BIOS. A Asus staff member wrote in a German forum ( Link and Link2) that they skipped the 210 BIOS. He also said that the 211 version is going to adjust the fan behaviour and that he didn't get any crashes with the 211 BIOS and the ATI 10.7a driver.

Wow, this is exciting!! Having the fans kick in sooner and having a 60% speed would be MUCH appreciated. Hoping there is some other changes in here as well, because I highly doubt a change in fan speeds will cure all our problems, but at this point I am sure people will appreciate anything.

Yeah fan speed is indeed not the problem. The way it does it now is OK if you change the paste. It doesn't really help Asus because the temperature problem is degenerative.

A lot of people have noticed that their G73JH started at 95C max in default Furmark and now 2 months later it is going 110C on them.

They ****ed up but will never admit it. Even if you save their bacon by reapplying the paste they will probably void your warranty. Asus supports must be the worst in the universe.
