    Asus G1 upgrade

    Hello


    i need to upgrade my laptop its still fast and great and i dont feel like buying a new one, please advise what is the fastest processor that i can install instead of the t7200 and if i can upgrade the video card.

    There's nothing attractive for a CPU upgrade.

    I'm not sure if the GPU is integrated on the mainboard for the G1 - but you aren't going to be able to upgrade the graphics card anyway because ASUS cards use a proprietary layout.

    Think about a new computer - even if you don't want to - that one is 6+ years old.

    today i removed the cpu and took it to a shop he said he has something like
    t8XXX im not sure if knows what he is talking about :) also that i have all my work on this laptop so removing all this will be a headache :) thats why im asking to upgrade.

    A CPU upgrade isn't going to be worth your time - the difference between the T7200 and T7600 that you can go to is minimal.

    Moving files to a new computer isn't so hard. ;)

    Don't let some guy sell you a CPU that you can't use. There is no good upgrade path for the G1.
