    Hey guys. Can i change the I5 processor from Asus G53JW-SX119D with a I7 one? Thanks!

    You can put a 920XM in a G53JW :)

    As an Asus rep, I need to mention that the upgrade does risk voiding your warranty.

    I am sure as per my longgggg post about the 920XM that I mentioned above it explains all about my worries and wonders about getting one finally getting one, loving it, maxing it and it smashing out some pretty darn good results matching that of a 2630QM 2nd Gen processor.

    As chastity mentioned it will void your warranty if you have one, but its well worth doing ;)

    Whether it's worth doing depends on how good your nerves are and how much warranty you have left. Personally, i waited until my AWD warranty expired before trying anything too crazy. I do love the 920xm though, it might be worth it if you find you need more CPU power.

    You could definitely slap any i7 from the first gen in there though the 920xm remains the best upgrade available to you.
