    I would like to upgrade the processor and RAM on my G50V. What would be a good upgrade. Also, where can I find info on upgradable parts such as GPU, RAM and so forth, for the G50V

    I would go with X9000 or whatever Pennryn based quad core is called. Quadcore is so in with these new games they can finally utilize it. You are stuck with DDR2 800 Sodimm and can't go with ddr3 as it's incompatible. I would just upgrade the processor if I were you.

    I would just upgrade the whole thing. Laptops are disposable imo.
