Hey everyone, all of a sudden when I went to turn on my laptop the computer would power up to the point where the little LED screen on the side shows some text and then you can hear the HDD spin ( I think it is the HDD) but then it turns off right away. After that the only way I can push the power button again is to unplug the AC Adapter and the batter, then replug them and then the same thing happens.

I tried holding the power button for 45 seconds and then putting back the AC and Battery into the laptop and it worked once, it even resumed to where I was before, however soon died again. Then today, I woke up, tried again with the 45 seconds and it worked, however as I was saving some files and what not, it turned off yet again.

I have tried the 45 seconds again but no luck so far.

What I am wondering is, what could be causing this, because if it works every now and then every part must be at least working, I bought a Air Can and have tried to dust the vents but am not sure where the fan is.

    Any help is appreciated!
(I also tried holding the reset button for 45 seconds)

    Ok a quick update.

I just held the power button down for about 45 seconds with no power again and the laptop powered on like before. This time I was checking to see if the fan was blowing and I did feel some air coming out of the vents, however when I lifted the laptop up to move it, it once again powered off.

Do you think it may be a loose wire or something? Would it void my warrant if i remove the back panel?

No, removing the back panel only won't void your warranty. Be careful around that sticker on the CPU heatsink, though.

I would think you have a hardware issue, though.
