Hi, so today i opened up my g51jx laptop, and normally its hibernating, but today was one of those weird days when i start it up and it said it got shut down improperly. Well this sometimes happens, but doesnt cause much problems.

But today when windows started, the resolution was at 800x600 from the default of 1920x1080. When i tried to change the resolution, the max was 1280x1024 or something like that. I am unable to even change my resolution back to 1920x1080.

    Can someone help

Files got corrupted either drivers or windows ... either driver or windows repair install.
Just use shutdown and forget hibernation doesn't always play nice.

Reinstall your graphics drivers and see if that fixes the problem.
